MonoMonday Challenge - Wood

First things first though, I am completely overwhelmed by the most thoughtful and lovely comments left on my blipday yesterday. I have read each of them with much pleasure and was surprised at how many people dropped in and wished me congratulations. I am giving a collective thanks here but will definitely get around to thanking people individually. Please be patient, it is going to take me some time so to start off with I have turned comments off again to give me some breathing space. I will turn them on when things are back under control.

Tonight is for the MonoMonday Challenge now being hosted by TyWynSue. The topic was wood. Now I live near the coast so it is only fitting that I found some driftwood. I also had someone back into my 2 month old car. I think all that was damaged was the number plate but I will get it checked out. The woman was most apologetic and in fact was in tears. I couldn't be cross with her now could I.
