Hacking and slicing

Dropped off the baby at daycare enabling us to have a worry free day out and about. Day 3 of date weekend. After watching the 'pool scrape past the hammers (thankfully keeping title race interesting) skyped mum for a chat.

We then headed out to balboa park to meet some friends to play 9 holes of golf. I had not picked up the clubs in over a year and was a bit rusty to begin with. Playing in the beautiful sunshine albeit under the flight path into San Diego international. Made par once (on a par 4) but in the latter stages my swing went completely and I was slicing it like a lemon.

Afterwards we all went into balboa park and had a late lunch at prado. Afterwards we parted ways and we went up to Mira Mesa to the green flash brewery for a few tasters and took a growler home of le freak ale to savour.

Then picked a very relieved baby up and went home to psych ourselves up for the week ahead.
