The Witching Hour

The Clock shows a minute or so after midnight, but as all residents of Edinburgh know the clock on the old North British (NB) Hotel has always bet set five or so minutes ahead of the ‘real’ time. This was to encourage passengers for trains at Waverly Station to get there in time for their trains.
