Apologies for those expecting perhaps another kitten photo....
but here is another predator, not of the cute and fluffy kind but no less worthy of attention.
I find this creature really fascinating, alien, creepy and puzzeling. It is content with its own company, only eats every two weeks. Imagine that! If humans were like that we would have so much more time to do other stuff as so much of our time and thought is occupied with where the next meal comes from, how to make it more interesting and spending time getting it, preparing it and clearing up afterwards. Not to forget the enjoyment we get out of it. The rest of the time is spent socialising, talking, being creative etc.

Snake just eats once a fortnight, and always the same meal, a young rat. It talks to no one. Doesn't build anything. doesn't read. Doesn't BLIP!
