Mistletoe

Commonplace on the trees round here, unbound by gravity, it grows in balls, not off tree, but right out of the branches... maybe I'll take a close up to show you. It joins Holly and yew asour only native evergreen species ...on windy days about this time of year, I go around the streets collecting up bits of it to decorate the house with.

I forgot to say yesterday, but I bought my new camera. Terribly excited. I'll be waiting in for it on Monday, and probably cursing delivery men. You know me.
