Kew Gardens
'Trees are the earth's endless effort to speak to the listening heaven.'
Rabindranath Tagore
'Wow' was definitely the word for today, which was constantly expressed as my friend Fahreen and I walked around Kew Gardens.
A belated birthday treat for my friend, combined with the fact I have never been, we were determined to go despite the grey weather!
The Royal Botanical Gardens, Kew is the worlds largest collection of living plants and one of the most famous.
We wandered through extensive gardens, walked along a tree canopy walkway, Japanese gardens, cherry blossom walk, it was all just amazing. Refreshing, relaxing, beautiful, therapeutic are a few phrases that described our feelings as we strolled through. It certainly was worth it, and I'm sure I'll be visiting again very soon!
Thank you Fahreen for being so patient as I literally stopped every few minutes for 'oh I just need to photograph this' throughout the whole day!
