75 today

Today we did All the things Grandma likes to do. We went for a walk around Lytham and had our first picnic of the year on the seafront. In the evening we went for a family meal to a country pub. Elaine and Les had put posters up on route of the birthday girl and then there were flowers and a tiara- Grandma was the county queen back in her youth. There was a surprise cake which daughter #1 had made and we managed to get it to the pub without grandma having any idea. Even when half the pub started singing happy birthday she didn't realise it was for her. Her face was a picture. One of her best birthdays ever - glad we could share it with her!
