Cucurbit
Plants are really amazing aren't they? I sowed these cucumber seeds on the 2nd April. On this morning (5th) one seed was poking through. When I photographed this in the evening, it is as you see now. And, backblipping this photo by one day, the seedling is now three inches high and its friends, barely discernible as little white dots here are bigger than this one is.
I am actually a wee bit scared.
And I am not sure why I thought it would be a good idea to try and grow cucumbers but we'll see.
We went batting this evening as the temperature was quite mild and saw some 55 pips. No Daubentons though, I think the water was still too high and they prefer slow moving water.
