Birthday preparations

My one and only, wondrous child will be 14 tomorrow.
14 years ago at this time I had been in labour for 20 hours and I still, unbeknownst to me, had 11 and a half hours left to go.
It was worth it.
Sadly, due to the school holidays being different for my school, James is off school and I still have a week left at work, so tomorrow he gets to eat through the mountain of cakes I have made for him and his friends. Without interference from his Mum. He is probably quite cheerful about that.

It's been a busy day and I hope I get some sleep tonight - am wrecked.
