One less life to rely on.....

We have shared our lives with cats for the last 25 years. In all that time none of our cats have decided to climb into the dishwasher! Dear Fleur found her way in tonight. Lorna called me though into the kitchen suggesting I grab the camera. Well the laugh of it all, I'd taken two shots with flash staring at the display at a resolute black screen before I realised the lens cap was still on! I have no excuse, even though it is the first time I have used the on-camera flash with the D800. I managed to get one more shot off before Fleur had enough of lights in her eyes and jumped out. Please don't look too closely, the wide aperture and lack of good focus on her eyes do not help the image but I just had to share this with you.
