The Alchemist

We had a birthday breakfast for Paula this morning after our swim...a great way to start the day. It's mine at the end of the month :)

Carole and I went along to see the markets that have opened at the old Granada site. The Coronation Street tours were launched yesterday too, so there were quite a few people about. I think the tours are only on for a limited time, I might try and go on one. The markets were disappointing, they need to up their game if they are going to succeed. We had walked up and down in a matter of minutes so we decided not to go straight home but to head to Spinningfields for a drink. We decided on The Alchemist...a good choice as we opted for brunch.

I went round to see Tracey this afternoon and tried to persuade her to sort to something for her birthday. I told her that you have to celebrate half a century...she nearly threw my tea at me ha ha ha. Anyway, I think we might be going for afternoon tea in the V&A which will be great.
