Batboy

Day 451 - it all started out so well with true and good yummy mummy intentions.

The boy learned how to build his first flat pack Ikea special and we got all crafty and up cycled the packaging into a battle arena and periscope.

He was even allowed to spend his £20 holiday money off the grandrents on a new Lego Ninjago complete with the Golden Ninja character (Lloyd apparently), ready to take on the foes in the battle arena.

We were even making good time for once for the school friends superheroes birthday party.......

But then it went wrong and the slumminess returned and I became that mum who turns up for the said party a day too late.

Cue a very disappointed batboy and a very gutted and guilty me.

Only football over the park in the rain would make him forgive me.

That'll teach me.
