A grand day out

A truly lovely day meeting up with our good friends Helen and Charlie today.

This is the first time we've been able to see them since the move but it was just like old times. A good natter over a coffee and run around the park for the little ones. P & C were so cute together and played so nicely, it's like they've never been apart. At lunch they even shared Charlie's chips! Little man was also on his best behaviour and enjoyed some lovely cuddles with Helen. First introductions can sometimes be tricky if baby isn't in the mood but he did brilliantly.

It makes me sad that we can't just pop round the corner any more to see our friends or send a quick text to see if a walk to town can be the order of the afternoon. But I'm so glad we can keep in touch via blipfoto, text and other modern means! And I'm sure this won't be our first and last reunion. True friends really are to be cherished x
