Grumpy

Today it has rained all day. Today is the only day in more than a week that Ann has had a whole day off and she had a long list of outdoor jobs that she wanted to do. Now she is grumpy because she has not been able to cross anything off her ‘to do’ list.

Ozzy, my very gorgeous golden retriever boyfriend, is staying with me for a while and this morning we went for our walk in the rain. That made Ann grumpy too. Bet Ozzy’s owners aren’t grumpy – they’re sunning themselves in the Canaries!! When we came back we had our breakfast and then we both lay down in our own beds for a little chillax. Ann said, ‘You two dogs stink. In fact the whole house smells of wet dog. I’m not happy!’ Honestly what does she expect? Of course the house is going to smell of wet dog if we’ve been out in the rain isn’t it? It’s hardly likely to smell of wet cat!!!

This afternoon we went along the river for our walk. We walked for at least an hour and didn’t see one other single person. Do other doggies not get a walk if it rains?

Weather forecast says sunshine on Tuesday.

......................That’s a long time to wait for Ann to stop being grumpy??!!
