All creatures great and small

Soozy finally got a walk she was satisfied with after having to dodge the rain yesterday.
The theme today seemed to be wildlife as we walked through local woodland. We saw deer, some grey heron (nesting), ducks, geese and lots of songbirds including a long tailed tit.
Soozy spotted this little guy as we headed back to the car. He’s an orange ladybird (Halyzia sedecimguttata)
