simply messing about in boats.................

A small boat moored up by the bank reminded me of the story 'The Wind in the Willows' (Kenneth Grahame 1908).

Rat takes Mole for a ride in his rowing boat. They get along well and spend many more days boating. They go on a picnic .....there's cold chicken, cold tongue, cold ham, cold beef, pickled gherkins.....ginger beer, lemonade.......

I wonder if Rat and Mole have gone to prepare their food and will be back soon to have their picnic??????
