Strange things on the walls

The rain has been beating against the windows looking over to the Kyle of Lochalsh all day so far. I decided to take an indoor blip. The cottage we are staying in is old, the walls around two and a half feet deep! There are all sorts of strange things on the walls, this being one of them.
I could swear it was on the other wall last night!
