Alexandria

One of those days when I could have posted a few different shots. We took the bus down to Georgetown and the boat across to Alexandria. This was another sentimental trip for A. We went to this Town a lot when P was small - the Town was founded by Scots tobacco traders and still has strong associations. Stood and watched the Alexandria pipe band for a while. In the evening P and I went to watch the Nationals play the Atlanta Braves - worth a visit and I do love baseball but I think its the sort of sport which might be easier to watch on the TV.
