The Hawker Sea Hawk was a single-seat jet fighter of the Fleet Air Arm (FAA) of the Royal Navy (RN)
It was built by Hawker Aircraft and its sister company, Armstrong Whitworth Aircraft. Its origins stemmed from earlier Hawker piston-engined fighters, the Sea Hawk and the Sea Hawk was the company's first jet aircraft. It built a reputation as a reliable and sturdy workhorse and went on to export success abroad in the Netherlands and India.
