Roses again

After heavy rain yesterday I picked a few roses that were looking a bit bedraggled and put them in a vase. For the photo I tried all sorts of light combinations, the ones with the sun shining through the petals looked lovely but not very clear. This is probably the best I can do ... with the auto function on the iPad I can't fiddle with settings etc.

The rose is "Double delight". I always think of my Aunty Di when I see it as there were some growing near her place. The rose was a gift from my daughter Cathy and the vase was a gift from my daughter Nina.
