P 'n' R

This is our son P (right) with his mate R who came round for early tea, with his parents L & B of course. Beer, hotdogs, wedges, salad & vast quantities of niibbles were on the menu thanks to R's ace cooking.

Missed two days running so had to go for a 6.5 mile run this morning at 6:30 as a busy day lay ahead of us. Morning food shopping done after the run. Far too much washing to sort as it was raining. Had a nightmare trying to buy two items from a kiosk in Sainsburys. A Transit van reversed into our car while stood, motionless, in traffic. Our numberplate broke off. But the van driver gave me £30 for a new one, which was nice of him. Car ok thankfully. Arrived at the building society 10 minutes after it shut at twelve.
When back home no time to breathe: fixed the numberplate temporarily (cracked, but managed to attach it back on the bumper). Made my own lunch. R washed her hair. Hoovered.

[/i]Then[/i] we had our visitors! B won the Grand National. I came second winning a fiver and we managed to book our camping holiday thaanks to L's organising skills!
