Culture this evening.

As part of Mr K's birthday present we gave us him tickets to the GOP Variety Theatre here in Essen.

We've been several times before and have never been disappointed, two plus hours of entertainment whilst sat at tables with waiter service - what's not to like?

Tonight was billed as a light show and the lighting effects were amazing, as was the Californian bubble magician, Tom Noddy who spoke pretty much only English, to the surprise of the mostly German audience, Ernest Palchykov did balancing, of his whole body on one hand - and then contorted his body whilst it was up in the air, he was a sight to behold, even his muscles had muscles...the last act was a couple, Duo Ogor, she was teeny weeny, but pure muscle, he was also pure muscle, but there was nothing teeny weeny about him, she used him as a piece of gymnastic equipment to balance around and he made life hard for himself by not standing up straight and still.

Even the teen seemed to enjoy himself, I swear I saw him laughing and applauding.
