Defiant
11.1C with some light showers and a few bright spells. Zephyr.
The mist was lifting as Maeve the Deerhoud and I had our early morning walk before 7am but we couldn't quite see the sea beyond the three trees.
Maeve and I had a wander about at Arbroath harbour. There were spots of rain just about 9 o'clock. The tide was out so there was lots of looking down at the boats. In the outer harbour this tiny boat, which sports the name Defiant, was loaded with creels and ready for a day at sea.
When Maeve and I went for our lunchtime walk we could see out to sea as far as the Bell Rock lighthouse. Normal visibility resumes :-)
