Great Niece

My status as a fab auntie has never really been in doubt (well, it probably has, but they have been too kind to say) but at 3.47 this morning my status was confirmed further as our lovely niece gave birth to a little girl in Edinburgh. That makes me a Great Auntie for the sixth time :)

It also confirms hubby's status as a fab uncle. Not sure what it makes our girls. Fab cousins?

And so, off to M & S this morning to enjoy a browse and spending session in the baby wear department.

Two more nieces are expecting this year, so God willing, the count goes on :)

Being known as a Great Aunt sounds so old, but I'm still safely in my forties, nowhere near the next decade....
