Lily

The lilies from my Mothers' Day bouquet have opened out and are looking beautiful. The scent is fabulous too.

Yet again the weather report is not a favourable one - dreich and dreicher - so after walking into the village to buy a paper I have ventured no further than the woodshed. I'll be lighting the fire very soon and look forward to watching the final of The Voice later.

PS Don't you love it when you find a fiver you'd forgotten about in a pocket?! I had that feeling this morning! It cheered me no end :-)
