Sunshine in a flower...
...well it's been nice and dry for a day or two now, but the sun has been a bit shy. I decided to photograph this plant which is a kind of giant buttercup which I purchased on Monday for just €2.45 when I was between jobs. It sits quite happily on the table outside our kitchen french doors.
A busy-ish Saturday so far, have been continuing with spring cleaning and ironing in our gîte. We now have 10 weeks booked from April to September which is the best advance bookings ever! We do however have to source a cot (for a 3 week midsummer booking) and a spare children's bed (for a two weeker)
Friends popped over from the village who were interested to know how our driveway turned out, and I have given them the necessary contacts to have some similar work done. They stayed for several pots of tea and biscuits, and it was nice to catch up!
Hope you're all enjoying Saturday!
