A view from Jeanneb

Still glowing

brightly in the top corner of the garden.

We met friend H at the WI Spring Market this morning in the church family room. Thought I might get some pictures there but it was absolutely heaving, so after a coffee and a few purchases, we returned home for a bacon buttie with son Alex who arrived back from Scotland last night for the Easter break. There were some freshly made egg custard tarts on the cake stall so I bought one for him as they have been a favourite of his since he was little when he had one every week after we went shopping with his grandparents. Another purchase was a couple of Cowslip plants. It will be interesting to see how they do and maybe they will provide a future blip.

Definitely an April showers day but I had a look around the garden in a dry moment and decided to take this flowering currant before it starts to fade. It has been wonderful this year and now the daffodils are fully out around it it looks magnificent.

Lots more to come and enjoy in the Spring garden.
