School is out!

Mood is at a high! Although this picture wouldn't necessarily prove that ...

There are times when I really love where we live, just because everything is so local. After school, the weather held (and the smog had lifted) so went to our beautiful common for an ice cream and a play in the park. When we arrived, there were lots of kids from their classes, so happy days for the kids (and me!).

We went to the pond - and sadly the geese are now down to 1 gosling (from 3). Then we cycled back through the woods - our little bit of woodlands in our urban landscape.

Then to the bakery for some fresh, artinsal, bread for the morning (smug) and a glide down the hill to home. Pretty much a perfect afternoon.
