A different way to spend a Friday evening. We went to the Northcott Theatre, Exeter to see HMS Pinafore and stayed the night at The Rougemont Hotel. Supper at the theatre café, Spires, served by wonderful young people some of whom are students at Exeter University. And what a university, the new buildings are inspirational. The cast of HMS Pinafore was all male and the lead part, Buttercup, was played by a man with the voice of an angel. Breakfast at Carluccio's - perfect in every way.
