Ben and his glasses

Kids glasses are really cool these days, nothing like the ones available when I was young.

I was 13 when I had to wear glasses all the time and I was given a pair of standard issue NHS frames which I thought then were horrific and made me look so ugly! Glasses, greasy hair, spots. All that. There is a school photo from that period that my mum used to stick up on the wall just to remind me (cruel ;) - but then I grew out of that phase thankfully but still think it was all caused by these NHS glasses!

Even though I have a really nice modern pair now that I wear outdoors, I still prefer to wear my contacts :)
