The Big Egg Hunt...

There is a really big Easter Egg hunt on in New Zealand at the moment!
All part of a charity fundraiser, you can read up on it online, Whittakers Big Egg Hunt.

Ella and her friends are keen to find all the ones that are hidden around Christchurch, there are 23 of them!
This picture shows how big they are...each one is decorated by a chosen artist in which ever style the artist has decided, and we have seen 6 of them so far, all quite different.
This one was in the Re-Start Mall today.

Ella and I went in and browsed around Ballentynes ( shop) , she has become interested in some of the fashion designers lately and wanted to have a look at the likes of Karen Walker etc clothing.....this intrigues me as I am the complete opposite and usually shop at second hand shops and at her age had no idea of designer wear!
She is not going to be buying the items any time soon that is for sure..she got a reality check when she saw the prices on the labels!
