Day 2: The world in a glass of wine!
A glorious day sunny and warm, which was just as well, as G took an involuntary dip in the canal. He was preparing to jump ashore at a lock changed his mind and inertia did the rest. At least now he can call himself a proper boater :-)
The weather was so good we decided to have lunch outside. So we were all sitting round the well deck (at least that is what I have always known it as) having lunch and a glass of wine. Katkatkat lifted hers and G said look at the inverted trees in the glass. I said "just keep it there!" and like a well behaved daughter (well she is sometimes) she did. I have to admit to being rather pleased with the result as it was literally a "snapshot".
For the record we were moored just above Park Gate Lock on the Staffs & worcs. The other highlight of the day was seeing a fox at dusk near some holes we had tied near.
