Afternoon tea

My craving for sweet was fulfilled this afternoon at a friend's birthday afternoon tea. A gawjus affair with pots of tea, fine sandwiches, petit fours & lots of cake! The White Horse at Liere was the venue and at 4pm I could indulge my fancy. After stuffing my face with a variety of wonderfulness I have to admit to feeling just a little bit icky....maybe should have only had the one scone?
