I love lamp.

Put simply, I have a thing for old street lamps. Perhaps it's a Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe thing, not sure. They evoke a sense of history, regardless of their authenticity. This one, for instance in Cologne, is a reminder of the beautiful finishings the city lost during the war. Sadly, very few of these beautiful details have been restored around this hastily rebuilt city. It makes me appreciate these little finds all the more.
