Kodak 35 mm camera

This little beauty was advertised as a Kodak Retina, but after I got it, I looked into the history of the Retina series, and none of them looked like this. Instead, I've found out that it is a "Kodak 35", which was the first 35-mm camera made in 1938 by Eastman Kodak, the US branch of the company. The viewfinder on top could be bought as an add-on for Retina cameras, and it has been added some time long ago to this one. I wonder where it has been in its lifetime!
