Cake and Bake Show

Had a great day out, ate cakes, macaroons, brownies, marshmallows, watched a cookery demonstration by Simon Rimmer, drank fancy cocktails and saw the most amazingly decorated cakes.

This cake of the comedian Frank Sidebottom caught my eye. I remember watching him as a teenager with his papier-mache head and Mancunian accent. Sadly Chris Sievey (the man behind the mask) died in 2010 at the age of 54. A soon to be released film called 'Frank' is based loosely on Chris's life. However, the actor playing him has an American accent - seems a strange decision!
