Stanley-T is not a well boy

At the vets today with S-T to check how the eyes were doing, she felt his glands and he gave a little yelp :( so she asked me to wait outside and took him next door. After a while she called me back in and said Stanley looks like he is developing head-gland disease (also known as puppy strangles) which makes all the glands swell up in his face, and can cause lesions on his face too :( although hopefully it has been noticed soon enough so that won't happen... They don't know what causes it, it is rare and can happen in any breed! So a course of antibiotics, steroids and eye drops for the next while.. Fingers crossed it goes away fast!

Still his normal playful self though, so a bit of TLC and an extra close eye the next few days :(
