The accidental finding

Bomble backlit

Last day of term! Yippee! Everyone was still deep cleaning all day. I'd planned to show a film at playtime, but was advised not to, because it clashed with other plans, so we played Snakes and Ladders instead. Then I came home and did a bit household deep cleaning, and two massages.

At one point, my first massage client was almost ready to leave, when I heard a knocking. I went to answer the door, expecting my second client, but found K, a child from down the road, looking sad because her mum wasn't home. I got her mum on the phone, then put Bomble outside, as he was about to be sick in the hallway, saw the client out, got my iPad for the child, checked up on Bomble, and then opened the door to my second client, who had been sitting in her car observing all the comings and goings!

Somewhere along the line, K's mother turned up to collect her; I realised that an important parcel hadn't been delivered; and that I was going to have to miss Pointless. Still, it was a sunny evening, so CleanSteve, Bomble and I sat out in the cabin enjoying the rays. The sky was a bright blue, but I've chosen this Bomble-shot instead of plants or sky. He seems none the worse for all his vile noises of earlier.

Time now for some serious TV- watching. Graham Norton is back on again. How we have missed him! I am also missing a glass of wine, as we have run out. Thank goodness Waitrose is reopening tomorrow. I am threatening to be there at 8 am to blip the ribbon-cutting ceremony.
