Cow the giraffe

The day Jack (now 12) was born, my Mum turned up at the hospital with this, his first toy.
She believed she had bought him a cow.
It has a long neck and is clearly a giraffe. The label even said so.
But he has been called cow ever since.
She has trouble with animals my Mum.
When Hollie was born she bought a toy zebra. Also turned out to be a giraffe.
Maybe she has giraffe blindness
