Messing about in boats!

Can't get away from boats can I!
And these are the boats predominant in this area.
This afternoon we visited a large garden centre alongside a canal which we think is part of the Leeds/Liverpool canal.
The marina looked pretty deserted on a cool, dull day and then this canal boat appeared from among the moorings and disappeared under the bridge and away into the countryside.
The small group of men onboard were chatting animately and obviously having a fun time!
