Bullfinch
At least I think it is a Bullfinch? Whatever he is he was sitting chomping on the blossom on our plum tree. Taken on full zoom so I gave it a touch of the soft focus treatment as it is not a particularly good shot.
All went well last night with the new Urologist. I feel confident in him. I'm booked in for the 16th April to have the stent removed and any remaining stones in my left kidney blasted into smithereens. The bad news is that along with a list of foods that I must "avoid like the plague" chocolate is top of the list...Noooooooooooo.
There is also a chance that he may have to put another stent in if he finds that my left kidney is still inflamed. I am so hoping that isn't the case as it will just prolong the discomfort.
On a more amusing note, I suddenly realised that the ancient nun sitting beside me in the waiting room was my old deputy head mistress. She used to absolutely terrify us at school so I didn't attempt to make myself known to her. Foolishly I quietly alerted Pete to this information so he proceeded to make a string of mishchievous comments in a very loud stage whisper - boys huh?!! Needless to say the minute my name was bellowed out I was off that chair and through the door without a backward glance.
Happy weekend folks x
