Mirror (Two). Looking out, looking in.

I have spent a lot of time at Castle Howard this week looking at the architecture, studying paintings, furniture, statues and generally drinking in history. I have developed a fascination for mirrors. They are like a silent witness to history and the passing of time. How many faces and figures have been reflected over the centuries?
I was at Castle Howard again this afternoon. The greyness outside has kept me in the corridors and grand rooms looking for the ordinary and the extraordinary.
