Other problems:
She can't stand on straw as she will get colics from straw (tried twice). Standing on sheddings, hopefully the sheddings won't infect the wound as they get into the bandage when she is lying down. For sure first thing she did in the box with shedding was having a good roll... She should not walk to much as not to put too much strain on the wound but she should not stand around too much as she will then have problems because of the venicular diesease in both front legs and the arthritis in the one hind leg. So we will put her on the field during the day and in the box at night. Today she stormed over the field whinnying and searching for her friends...
