A first!

This is the very first time that I have ever sucessfully kept an orchid which has flowered a second time, so I am very proud of this one!

I am posting my blip early as this will be the only time I have today. I am waiting for my car to be collected by the garage as having driven so many miles recently it needs a service.

After that we are going to Liverpool in search of baby clothes for my daughter in New Zealand. She emailed me with what started off as quite a small list from M and S and Next which I tried to order on line, but due to some things being out of stock I went to Chester and Ellesmere Port and got some things and ordered others. Next had nothing she wanted and to add insult to injury, when I ordered 2 items from them on line, it seems that even to pay up front with a card you have to have one of their store accounts which entails a credit check. I phoned to confirm this. I have no worries about my credit rating but on principle I won't do that!!
I have confirmed that Next in Liverpool has what she wants and overnight I had another email and it seems that my daughter now fancies a few more things from M and S and a couple of things from Mothercare as well.......!
After all that I have some things being delivered to our local M and S and have to collect them after midday, it will be more like 4pm by the time I get there. Then I shall have to parcel them all up and go to the Post Office (I think that will be tomorrow).Goodness knows how much the postage will be!

We are going out to a party at 6.30pm if we make it!
