Sarah, Sarah, Sarah, Sarah, Sarah, Sarah and Sarah

Here is a photo of Sarah and her sisters. I don't need to explain why one is also called Houdini.

They only laid 4 eggs today! That is probably lucky as we have enough eggs to last a while. It was very wet this morning so maybe the rain put them off the job.

They are the Isa Brown breed and are usually good layers and nice pets. They are usually penned in a yard as they cause havoc in the garden. It is nice to have them next door as I used to have hens when we lived on the farm, unfortunately a fox got them ALL one night. That was about 30 years ago and I haven't forgotten finding them...
