Behind the Sunset

The photog gurus always say: Before you finish shooting, look behind you.

Tonight I did. After shooting a very un-spectacular sunset, I turned around and saw this glorious sight in the southern sky.

Okay, not quite behind, but definitely not something I saw with camera pointed directly at the sunset!
