Mourning Dove!

When I first saw this lovely bird, he was on a branch, but when I tried to get a shot, he flew off. He ended up on the grass and I got this shot before he flew away! What pretty markings and interesting sounds he made.

I am feeling sad today as little Charlie is not doing well and we are praying that God will protect him and give his parents strength and comfort to deal with yet another angel being taken from them in less than a year. If there is any glimmer of hope for recovery, I know God is kind and will send him back to us. In my heart I do believe Amber is waiting for her playmate to fly in the heavenly skies with her!
