Princes Square

I always mean to take interesting, urban shots when I'm in the city. It just never quite works that way. Today, for instance, it rained a bit. We were rushing about. I had bags to carry (I was, after all, there to shop). I kept forgetting about it (we were talking a lot, my friend and I). And so it was that the only time I had the moment, the lack of people wanting past, the free hand and the inclination I was just coming down the escalator in Princes Square. This is the result. They've cleaned up and revarnished all the woodwork, which looks rather fine. And I'd just had a pleasant lunch on the top floor.
