Can You Canjo?

This collage shows the details of a one string canjo my sister bought at a craft fair in Tennessee. Basically a simple home-made instrument tuned to a dulcimer scale, the craftsmanship is top notch and it's fun to play. Though it will probably mean less time available to blip, I'm thinking of trying my hand at making my own version and perhaps a three string cigar box guitar or two.
