High-end Housing?

For Sale: One tree house. Vacant possession. Air conditioned. Excellent views. Needs a little tlc to bring it back to first class condition.

We walk past this tree house on most days when we take the dogs out. I've never seen anyone up the tree, and it does look as if it's seen better days, so I don't know how long it has been there.

I always wonder whether an ambitious dad helped his children to get the wood up the tree and into place. The rope dangling from the tree I assume is the means of access.

The tree is at the side of Stoat Lane which is a green lane that runs behind the village. About 3 miles away is Coughton Court. It is said that some of the Gunpowder Plot conspirators rode directly to Coughton after its discovery in 1605, and part of the route that they took was along Stoat Lane.

It is certainly a lovely walk, with fields, trees and bushes on both sides, and is currently full of the sounds of bird-song and the baa-ing of sheep and lambs.
